Recombinant proteins are based on recombinant DNA technology to produce proteins by hacking cells of different organisms. The rDNA technology uses cloned DNA sequences which usually lead to the development of an enzyme or protein with known function expressed in organisms such as bacteria, yeast, or animal cells in culture. The production of recombinant proteins generally involves two steps: cloning of concern gene and protein expression technique.
