This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate of the kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat IgA. Test samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a detection antibody (biotinylated) specific for Rat IgA and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added to each well of the well and then the plate is incubated for specific time. The free conjugate is washed away by buffer. The substrate solution is added to each well. The well that contains Rat IgA, detection antibody (biotinylated) and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is completed by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. In the last, the optical density (OD) of the wells are measured by spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 450 nm ? 2 nm. The OD value comes in proportional to the concentration of Rat IgA. The concentration is calculated for Rat IgA in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples with the standard curve.
Tested Sample Types: serum, plasma and other biological fluids Assay Time: 3.5h Cross reactivity: This kit recognizes Rat IgA in samples. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Rat IgA and analogues was observed Precision: Both intra-CV and inter-CV are < 10%.Storage and Expiry: 2-8 degree C./-20 degree C., 12 months
