This kit is a sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of Tropomodulin 3 (TMOD3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

TEST PRINCIPLE: The microplate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to TMOD3. Standardsorsamples are then added to the appropriate microplate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specifictoTMOD3.Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well andincubated. AfterTMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain TMOD3, biotin-conjugatedantibodyandenzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminatedbytheaddition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at awavelengthof450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of TMOD3 in the samples is then determined by comparingtheO.D. ofthesamples to the standard curve.
